What is Brave?
Brave is a Chromium (the roots of Google Chrome) based Browser. The point of this browser is to find a new way to navigate the internet. A navigation without any ads but a navigation that still rewards the publishers, the bloggers. All the content creators!
Who isn’t tired of trying to watch a 15 second video and having to watch a 30 second ad before the video?
Who isn’t tired of all pop-ups and ads everywhere?
What about those articles that only let you read if you don’t have an ad-blocker on?
I know I am, I also know I want to change this! How can I do it? By joining Brave as a publisher and as a reader!
Brave blocks all of these ads and divides the attention you take to each article and translates it into BAT (Basic Attention Token) tokens that are given to the content creators you read the most. Sounds great, right?
Let’s say 5% of your navigation time, every week, is dedicated to read everythingandapairofboots.com, that time will be allocated to reward the people behind it, in this case, is just me for now. So, just by reading it with the Brave Browser you are rewarding me and you won’t see any ads! Awesome!
Today everythingandapairofboots.com was verified by Brave and I’m now proud to be officially part of the internet change wave.
If you are interested you can download the brave browser and join me! It’s free, available for PC, Mac, Android and iOS.
I suggest you disable the “Always HTTPS” option in the mobile browser as it prevents you from opening a lot of websites that are not HTTPS.
